This template will help you to convert identified challenges or Need Statements into questions that begin with How Might We (HMW). HMWs create a seed for the ideation phase that is broad enough that there is a wide range of solutions but narrow enough that the team has some helpful boundaries.
HMW questions should be human-centered, focusing on the needs of people. The power of a HMW question lies in its optimism and openness to many possible solutions. It should be noted, the proper scope of the seed will vary with the project and how much progress you have made in your work.
